The ANTARIS®4 GPS 16-channel baseband controller has 128KB RAM, SuperSense® ROM, and provides basic GPS operations:
? Tracking - up to -158dBm sensitivity,
? Acquisition - up to -142dB sensitivity
? Navigation
? Position data output
The GPS controller integrates the ARM7TDMI® ARM® Thumb® processor core, 16-channel baseband correlator, SuperSense firmware, and a wide range of peripheral functions into a single CMOS chip for flexible, cost-effective solutions. Fast exception handling makes it ideal for real-time control applications. The GPS controller eliminates the need for off-chip flash memory or ROM with normal PVT (position/velocity/time) applications. The device also supports the NMEA® protocol (2.1 and 2.3) for PVT data, configuration and debugging; RTCM protocol; and A-GPS.
